Delta's latest Irish Naval Service craft DDY5 and DDY6 go in to
service. Fitted with Ullman seats and the latest navionics these
fulfill the latest requirements for the demanding role required of them.
APRIL 08:
Delta receive an order from the Republique et Canton de Geneve for a
Police RIB for Geneva Police. Delta have built Police boats for
around 20 difference Forces both in the UK and overseas.
APRIL 08:
Delta deliver the last of 12 SOLAS approved MOR Rescue Boats that
have been serviced by Delta engineers over the winter period while
the Caledonian MacBrayne ferries they are carried on are in dock.
FEBUARY 08:
Delta receive an order from Canterbury County Council for a Pilot
Boat for Whitstable Harbour Authority. This 980TX Delta will have a
GRP wheelhouse and is powered by a single Yanmar inboard diesel with
a Bravo sterndrive.
FEBUARY 08:
Delta's sponson repair team travel out to Occidental Petroleum in
Qatar to carry out an urgent replacement of sponsons on one of the
many Delta's supplied to this Company.

Delta deliver 2 Delta 95 Daughtercraft to Seacor Marine (International) Ltd following our long tradition of supplying
Daughtercraft to the Offshore Support Sector.

Delta engineers travel to Cyprus to carry out urgent repairs to Delta

DECEMBER 07 - JANUARY 08:
Delta receive an order from Greenpeace Australia-Pacific followed in
January with an order from Greenpeace International for a new design
Delta 740X.
DECEMBER - 07: Delta delivers Lough Neagh's latest rescue boat.
This highly specialised boat has been part financed by the European Union through the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) as part of the Lough Neagh Strategic Fund. DARD Minister Michelle Gildernew described the launch as an "exciting day" for Lough Neagh Rescue and its volunteer crew. She said the work of the lifeboat was essential: "Not only will this lifeboat save the lives of fishermen, sailors or any one of the thousands who visit Lough Neagh, it will also ensure that the dedicated volunteer crew come home safely. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y29_WRW092w
SEPTEMBER - 07: Delta has a stand at the DSEI Military Exhibition at Excel in London where we will be showcasing our Military Range of Vessels.
AUGUST/SEPTEMBER - 07: Delta supports and services all craft worldwide
and are able to carry out large refit programs overseas.
Canadian
Nexen Petroleum had an urgent requirement to get four Delta 1000 TX
craft back in commission following increased terrorist activity
around the eegion of operation. These craft underwent a full service
and re-fit program which including replacement engines, drive legs
and sponsons all carried out on-site by 2 Delta teams working in
rotation.
AUGUST - 07: Delta has been awarded a contract by Lough Neagh Rescue to build a 770X Craft with twin Yamaha 115hp engines.
Delta has supplied Lough Neagh Rescue with 5 vessels since the early 1990's and are proud of the continuing association between both parties.
AUGUST - 07: Delta have been awarded a contract by the Irish Naval Service to build 2 8.0 metre vessels.
This is a new design from Delta and comes complete with Ullman suspension seating for the helm, navigator and crew. Propulsion is Yanmar diesel sterndrive as in their previous Delta 7.00 craft. Delta are proud to have supplied the Naval Service in the past with 6.5 metre twin outboard vessels as well as the 7.0 metre inboard diesel and look forward to a continuing relationship supplying the Naval Service with their RIB requirements.
JULY - 07: Delta have just delivered a 9.5 metre Daughtercraft to Seacore Marine (UK) Ltd.
Delta have been manufacturing vessels for Seacore (Putford Rescue) since the early 1990's.
APRIL - 2007: Delta is proud to have recently delivered a new first of class Pilot vessel to the Poole Harbour Commissioners.
This is the first Rigid Inflatable Boat to be designed specifically as a Pilot Boat for use in the UK.
This new design of Pilot Boat is powered by twin Volvo D6 Marine Diesels producing 350hp each giving the vessel a top speed of 35kts.
The vessel has been fitted with state of the art equipment such as Automatic Identification System (AIS), video surveillance equipment and a GPS system.
The vessel has been built and designed to carry 12 persons and is approved by the MCA as a Pilot boat.
Besides its primary role of pilotage duties, “Vanguard” will also be used as a high-speed harbour and inshore patrol vessel for the enforcement of Poole Harbour’s byelaws. “Vanguard” is the first of an exciting new range of high speed, patrol and pilot vessels from Delta which now includes water jet variants.
FEBUARY - 2007: Delta Increase the size of their Design Team
Delta has recently employed a new Naval Architect and a New Design Engineer to increase the strength of the design team.
Both are working on new projects which are currently being produced at Delta’s base in Stockport.
FEBUARY - 2007: ARRC
Delta has produced the final of the 8 (ARRC) vessels contracted for project JIGSAW. BP’s innovative rescue arrangements due to go live in the first quarter of 07 .The delivery and acceptance trials are due to take place later this month.
This will complete the successful order of the 8 x 19m Autonomous Rescue and Recovery Craft ARRCTM for BP.

With the continued success of the Delta Phantom 9.5m Inherently Self Righting Daughter craft. Delta are pleased to announce the order for a further 3 vessels due for completion later this year.
FEBUARY - 2007: An Garda Siochana Police (The National Police Force of Ireland)
Garda Police have taken delivery of 3 new Patrol / Dive vessels produced by Delta.
Each vessel has been designed with a duel role purpose to carry out patrol and law enforcement and dive duties.
The design required two vessels with a length of 7.4m (2.5m Beam) and one of 6.7m (2.5m Beam).
The larger 7.4m vessels have been equipped with a shelter arrangement which allows the crews to keep warm and dry in heavy seas and rain.
JANUARY - 2007: HM Revenue & Customs 6.2m RIB
Delta is pleased to announce its continuing relationship with the HM Revenue & Customs as the contract winner of the new Delta 6.2m Inboard Diesel Fast Patrol and Interception vessel.
The vessel has replaced an older RIB on the mothership and has used a 190HP inboard diesel engine to allow the Customs teams more flexibility.
The precise design of the vessel has been carried out to fit within a small envelope of both weight and size. The construction has been in the Lloyds Approved workshops under the strict supervision of the design team.
The new RIB is the latest edition to the other HM Revenue & Customs Cutters already fitted with the Delta 7.4m stern launched RIBs.
The RIB is due for completion later this year.
DECEMBER - 2006: Seacor Marine (International)
Delta has won the contract for the supply of 2 Delta Lightning (6.5m) Fast Rescue Craft. Delta has been producing vessels for Seacor for the past 20 years and is pleased to produce these new vessels for their fleet of Daughter craft.
NOVEMBER - 2006: Poole Harbour
An order for the brand new Delta 12m Pilot Boat has been placed by the Poole Harbour Pilots.
After successful trials on the Delta Phantom vessel last year the Poole Harbour Pilots have been working closely with Delta on a brand new Pilot vessel that will be operational spring this year.
The vessel is equipped with twin Volvo D6 inboard diesel sterndrives using the Duoprop system and will be capable of operating at greater speeds than Poole Harbour Pilots existing fleet.
OCTOBER - 2006: QinetiQ
Delta is pleased to announce that QinetiQ has taken delivery of their new Delta 11.7m Range Vessel - name Quasar.
The vessel has been designed and equipped specifically as a Range vessel and is fitted with twin Hamilton 274 Waterjets coupled to twin Yanmar 370HP Inboard Diesel engines allowing the vessel to perform various duties within MCA Cat 3 limits.
The design of the vessel incorporates a lifting gantry capable of hoisting weights of up to 350kg onto a 4m x 2m continuous flat deck. A sophisticated electronics package was also designed into the vessel to aid in the vessel's duties.
The vessel has a high degree of manoeuvrability due to the propulsion package chosen which assists in the vessels duties for precision work and allows for a top speed of 35kts.
The vessel was chosen for the quality and reliability that the Delta name has come to represent for the past 30 years.
As a multi role vessel, Quasar has been built and equipped to a very high standard and is likely to be an invaluable asset for QinetiQ for many years to come.

SEPTEMBER - 2006: Byron Marine
Delta is delighted to announce the recent delivery of a Delta Lightning 6.5m Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) to Byron Marine.
JULY - 2006: Irish Navy
The Irish Navy have placed an order for two of the latest Delta 7.0m Seaboat vessels equipped with Single Point Lift and 8 removable forward seats.
The craft are to be delivered in February.
JUNE - 2006: Petrobaltic
Petrobaltic have taken delivery of the new Delta Hunter 11.7m Inherently Self Righting Daughter Craft.
The vessel has been designed for working along side Oil Platforms and has been designed to be lifted on a single point lift onto the Rig side.
JUNE - 2006: Northstar Shipping
Delta is pleased to announce that Northstar Shipping has ordered a new Delta 9.5m Inherently Self Righting Daughter Craft. This continues the long lasting relationship between Delta and Northstar who have procured many Delta vessels for the past 22 years.
MAY - 2006
Delta is proud to deliver the fourth SOLAS approved Phantom Wheelhouse daughter craft to NorthStar Shipping. The team is now working hard on finishing the final four of the order.
APRIL - 2006
The Dutch Navy is happy to receive the final two craft in an order of twelve RNLN patrol craft.
